john's show (ages 5 and up).
john and the actors will build a production from scratch. This will be the sixth show in the series. Open to all the young actors who have been in one of the previous shows. Accepting a limited number of new actors. Parents play, too. In fact all young actors must have a responsible adult on site.

Rehearsals for johns show:

The once-a-week rehearsals are held Thursdays at the Odyssey School, 4407 Red River, Austin.

11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sept. 17, 2009 - January 28.

No rehearsals on Thanksgiving or from Dec. 11, 2009 to Jan. 13 2010.

Bring water! These are fast-paced high-energy rehearsal classes. Come dressed to roll on the floor, laugh, play, learn, and have fun.
Show-week Camp for Play and Musical classes: Dougherty Arts Theatre Actors will participate in a daily performance camp the week of the show. Feb. 1-4, 2010 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. unless notified otherwise.
Performances: Dougherty Arts Theatre Feb. 5-6, 2010, time to be announced in October. Two performances.

Cost:

$180 if paid after Sept. 17, 2009
$165 if paid in full by Sept. 17, 2009
$150 for each student for two or more students per family, for all returning students, or for those taking more than one of john's classes (discount only applies when paid in full by Sept. 17, 2009)
Or pay $50 deposit, pay 40.00 first day of class, and pay $90.00 by Nov. 19. $25 late fee.
Free for parents taking john's classes with their child.

Full refunds for john's classes available until two weeks prior to first class.
You are responsible for supplying your costume.

Custom Classes Available
With a minimum of six (6) students
you can schedule a group class. $10 per hour per student.

Discount Type	Qualifications
1. Multiple shows or Sibling	If you and your sibling is in one of john's shows in the Fall, you qualify. If you or your sibling is in one of Engela's shows this Fall, you qualify. (NOTE: You must pay each instructor separately, but you're still elegible for the discount.)
2. Returning cast members	If you have been in a show directed by john's, you qualify.
3. Parents of caregiver	If you are a parent or caregiver (over 18) of a cast member (age 5-up), you may be in the show with your paying child for free.
